| The structure that we see in language reflects the order and logic of Him who created man and his languages. For the same reason, our textbooks introduce writing to our students step by step; focusing on sentence structure, grammar rules, spelling and composition. Gradually each child is given good, healthy literature which edifies his soul and spirit.
Each primary level includes handwriting exercises with clear, step-by-step explanations showing the student how to sit properly, how to hold a pencil and how to trace each letter. Our writing texts for the Pre-school levels include exercises which teach different aspects of hand-eye coordination which is closely linked to the learning process. They also include psychomotor exercises which help students develop precision, coordination, quickness and control over the movements of their fingers and hands. Our guides also include activities related to the ability to perceive similarities and differences in sounds. The skills developed with these exercises are an important foundation for learning to read and write. Reading in the first few grades is designed so that each child can learn to read and write in a simple and pleasant way. When the letters are first introduced, they are given with a simple narration that will catch the child’s attention and allow him to focus on the symbol that is being taught. |
