Why Should My Child Homeschool? |
| Home schooling is what most meets the demands God gives us in Deuteronomy 6:4:
“Hear O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.” |

| The Bible tells us that children are like tender olive shoots (Psalm 128:3 NIV). Just as an olive shoot can be turned in any direction by a gardener, children are very easily influenced to choose the wrong path. Parents have the opportunity of protecting their children and turning them toward the right path until they become mature trees. | ||
| In this present world, many children who are still in grammar school have access to morally destructive material, such as pornography, immoral films and television programs that are vile and full of violence. Home schooling is imperative for parents who wish to protect their children from the influence of other children who are already contaminated by these influences. | ||
| Children are the inheritance of the Lord (Psalm 127:3). Home schooling is a necessity for parents who do not want to risk losing that inheritance by allowing | ||
| their children to be exposed to teachers and other children whose lives continually exert a wrong and destructive influence on those around them. | ![]() |
