Who Can Homeschool Their Children?
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Prov. 1:7)

Some people think they don’t have a good enough academic background; others think they don’t have the patience or the time, or that they should be working, etc.  Parents sometimes find an innumerable amount of excuses to evade the responsibility God has given them.  The truth is that any parent who has a very basic level of education can teach their children, and even learn more themselves.  The results are well-documented:

In the United States, over 2 million children are home schooled. Standardized testing by the government has consistently revealed that their academic level is 50% higher than the nationwide average for other students. This is one of the results of a personalized education.
In a national spelling contest held during the year 2000, the three top winners were all children who were home schooled. Similar results have occurred on various occasions and in a number of national contests.
Universities throughout the U.S. have recognized that their best students, both socially and academically, have been those who studied in the home.

Now that Hebron has the first six years of classes on DVD with teachers, even children of parents who can’t read can study at home – and the parents themselves can learn!
